Structure
The course is formatted as a one day, classroom based, training activity.
Pre-Course Requirements consist of sending the following resources to the participants:
- Details of the learning outcomes
- The EU PPS protocol with a summary of the data collection process
- A pre-course questionnaire with cases of patients with infections, to be categorised according to protocol.
Post-Course Requirements:
Participants will be provided with a post-course validation exercise in the form of case studies. The facilitators will be provided with the solutions to the case studies for dissemination after the completion of the validation exercise.
Evaluation of the course will be carried out in two ways following the course; an immediate evaluation on the course content and delivery and a evaluation subsequent to the commencement of data collection to assess whether the course provided the participants with the skills to undertake a PPS.
Course Structure:
Course activities are fully classroom based taking place in one day, in a mix of lectures / presentations and group exercises. There are no learning blends available with online learning.
