ECDC Virtual Academy (EVA)

The learning objectives of this course are for the participants to be able to:

• Develop the skills required to confirm an outbreak and establish a case definition;
• Develop the capacity to initiate and participate in HAI outbreak control activities;
• Obtain the skills to count cases and orient the HAI outbreak data to capture the time, place and person characteristics;
• Develop the skills to implement control measures, and evaluate the effectiveness of the implemented interventions for outbreak;
• Communicate the results and recommendations for HAI outbreak responses
