Background
Overview: The IHR Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) course builds M&E capacities necessary to monitor implementation of IHR among member states. The four-module course imparts skills in M&E planning, which can be applied in NAPHS to improve pandemic preparedness including COVID-19. The course also covers IHR M&E framework and builds skills to carry out assessments objectively. There are also practical case studies in M&E for IHR- including evaluations and prioritization of actions to improve pandemic preparedness. The course also contains practical role plays to build capacity in resource advocacy to finance pandemic preparedness plans. COVID-19 and other health emergencies require sound mitigation plans – the course offers skills to develop, implement, monitor, evaluate and improve those plans.
Course duration: 1 hour per module (4 Modules, 2 case studies)
Certificates: A Certificate of Completion will be made available to all those who complete the course.
