ECDC is looking for volunteers to pilot two new courses related to planning, designing, conducting and/or evaluating of Simulation exercises. These courses are:

How to design a Table-top Exercise (TTX). Learning objectives:

  • understand how to develop the aims and objectives for a table-top exercise.

  • understand the key elements of exercise design.

  • be aware of the existing ECDC tools to assist you in designing your simulation exercise with a focus on public health.

How to design a Functional exercise (FX). Learning objectives:                                                                                                                                                                 

  • understand how to develop the aims and objectives for a functional exercise.

  • understand the key elements of exercise design.

  • understand the key differences between a functional (FX) and a Table-top exercise (TTX).

  • be aware of the existing ECDC tools to assist you in designing your simulation exercise with a focus on public health.

Enrol

The courses are around 40 min each.

There are 20 places open for each course.

The pilots will run until 10 March 2021

This courses will be especially useful to professionals involved in planning, designing, conducting and/or evaluating of Simulation exercises.

We are looking for feedback on how to improve the courses in order to successfully teach the basic concepts on how to design and run TTX and FX.
