Here is a series of micro learning activities (5-30 minutes) related to COVID-19.

The first series of 5 are on non-pharmaceutical countermeasures (NPC)

1. Introduction to COVID-19 NPC

2. Personal protection against COVID-19

3. Environmental countermeasures against COVID-19

4. Social distancing countermeasures against COVID-19

5. Travel related countermeasures against COVID-19

Addition micro learning activities will be added soon.

The micro learnings are based on the NCP ECDC guideline and the PPE ECDC technical report. The NCP ECDC guideline is based on an ECDC Expert Opinion on non-pharmaceutical countermeasures. Since there are uncertainties concerning the infectious period of the SARS-CoV-2 and its basic reproductive number (R0), these materials should be interpreted with caution.

Moreover, these materials are build upon the current knowledge on the SARS-CoV-2 and evidence available on other viral respiratory pathogens, mainly the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome coronavirus (SARS-CoV), the Middle East Respiratory Syndrome-related coronavirus (MERS-CoV) and seasonal or pandemic influenza viruses.

This online tutorial is designed to support the users of The European Surveillance System (TESSy) on how to use the recently added functionalities to report COVID-19 cases.

Although this tutorial is open to any learner, only officially nominated contact points in each EU Member State will have access to TESSy to report cases.
